What equipment do you typically use during a treatment session?

Individual treatment plans vary.  We will typically use a portable treatment bed for assessment and treatment. As well, we have a variety of equipment for use depending on the client’s needs.  This includes but not limited to: Standing frame, Dictus band, Activator trekking poles, Active hand/grip assist, exercise bands and stability ball.


How long post injury can you help?

The sooner you can begin your therapy post injury the better. However, it is never too late. Improvement in function and mobility can be achieved at any stage in an individual’s recovery.


Do you deal with insurance companies?

Of course!  We are very experienced in working with motor vehicle insurance and Veterans Affairs.  We are able to direct bill to most extended health insurance providers.


What geographical region do you service?

We provide service to individuals within the Barrie city limits without an extra travel charge. We will travel outside of that, however, a travel fee will be charged. Please contact us to discuss this further if you have any questions.


Do I require a prescription or doctor’s note?

To obtain physiotherapy services, you do not require a prescription from your doctor. However, some insurance providers do require one before they will provide coverage. For this reason, it is recommended that you contact your provider to determine their requirements, maximum annual coverage and maximum payable amount per session.
